Brian Pender

Brian brings a wealth of experience in finance and strategic leadership, having most recently served as VP/Director at Capital One (2022-2024). Before that, he led Fairway Healthcare Partners as President (2016-2022) and launched his career at GE Capital. With expertise spanning lending, private equity, healthcare, M&A, and valuations, Brian is passionate about driving growth and fostering innovation. As a credentialed CVA and CFE and a dedicated CHQ Chamber Board member, he is committed to contributing to the success and vibrancy of the Chautauqua Northlake community.

Dr. Erin Pender is more than a dentist—she’s a community advocate and visionary. As the owner of Chautauqua Lake Dental, Erin has not only transformed smiles but also strengthened ties within the Chautauqua Northlake area. She serves on the Chautauqua County Board of Health, CLCS Schools Board, and the Audubon Nature Center Board. With a background as a former Chicago Public School teacher and National Health Service Corps member, Erin brings a unique perspective to her work, blending care, education, and community leadership to inspire positive change.

After moving to Chautauqua County, the Penders embarked on an extensive renovation of a 100+ year-old dairy farmhouse into their dream home. By 2019, the initial restoration was complete, preserving the home’s historic charm while modernizing its infrastructure. In 2021, the addition of a wrap-around porch, basement, and garage further transformed this property into a local landmark. This highly visible restoration reflects Northlake’s dedication to celebrating the region’s heritage while embracing its future.

In December 2022, Northlake Development partners Brian and Erin Pender began the ambitious transformation of the abandoned and deteriorating former Peacock Freemason Lodge into Chautauqua Lake Dental’s state-of-the-art facility. By August 2023, this reimagined building opened its doors, showcasing a stunning renovation that has greatly enhanced operations, attracted new patients and staff, and revitalized a once-neglected property. This project represents a major milestone in the revitalization of the Mayville and Chautauqua Northlake area, fostering growth and community pride.
