Ebel & Associates, Inc. is a custom homebuilding company focused on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. I am the President of Ebel & Associates, Inc., Chris Ebel. I bring over 14 years of experience to you from all aspects of building.
After graduating from Appalachian State University I began work in Charlotte with an architectural hardware company. Shortly thereafter I went to work with Cherry Homes, Inc. in 1994. With Cherry Homes I used my knowledge of home design to help develop their plan base. I was their first CAD designer and transformed them into a semi-custom production builder. After managing the CAD department for several years I took an opportunity with a national home builder, Zaring homes, as their CAD operator. There I used my expertise to modify their plans to fit the Charlotte market and oversaw all construction documents. As the company evolved, I took the opportunity to expand my knowledge by becoming a field superintendent. I supervised the construction of many homes in three neighborhoods on the North side of Charlotte; Sailview, Mount Island Harbor and The Overlook. Once in the field I quickly earned a reputation for quality control and an eagerness to satisfy the customer. This reputation resulted in an opportunity to train several new superintendents while continuing to build. When Zaring moved out of the Charlotte market I went to work for Builders Firstsource, Inc. There I worked as a roof truss designer and estimator until I decided to return to my love of home building.
In 2003 I began Ebel & Associates, Inc. and have built custom homes from Union County, N.C. to Catawba County. My focus remains to be on quality and customer
satisfaction. I specialize in 2000 to 4000 square foot custom homes and keep a keen eye on detail. I have continued to expand my knowledge and experience in home building through the Lake Norman Home Builders Association and the North Carolina Builders Institute. Continuing builder education allows me to advance towards my Master Builder Certification in North Carolina by early 2009.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
